Chipotle Style - Cilantro Brown Rice Recipe

Ingredients:

  1. 2 1/2 cups of brown rice
  2. 4 cups of water
  3. 1 teaspoon of lime juice
  4. 1 1/2 tablespoon of salt
  5. A pinch of black pepper
  6. 1 tablespoon of butter
  7. 1 tablespoon of oil (canola, olive, vegetable, corn, or w/e) 
  8. 1/2 cup of chopped fresh cilantro
Procedure:

  1. 🍲  On the electric pressure cooker, select the brown setting and add the following ingredients: oil and butter, cilantro, lime juice, salt and pepper.
  2. Once it starts to slowly brown, add rice and water. 
  3. Mix it! and cover it!👍
  4. Cover and secure/seal pressure cooker and select brown rice settings. 
  5. Turn it on and forget about it until it beeps! 😜
Cook Time: 25 min.
Servings: 6-10 (depends on how much people eat! LOL!)

Why pressure cooker? Brown rice is hard and takes a long time to cook. 

If you want to make it in stove top. Set the temperature to low setting and cover.  Cook time will delay and might need more water to cook properly.
