My Chunky "Sofrito" Recipe
Sofrito in Puerto Rico is used as a base for cooking stew style foods.

Ingredients:
- 2 bunches of fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup of minced garlic
- 1 whole big white onion
- 5 leaves of recao/culantro/corriander
- Peppers - Green/Red/Orange/Yellow
Procedures:
- Using a sharp knife chop all the ingredients as small as you can and mix them.
- Storing it on a Mason Jar makes it last longer.
- Must be refrigerated for conservation.
- Some people add salt for conservation.
- You can always grind it on the food processor. I like it chunky!
